Hello, if you are experiencing a problem with your PS3 it could be one of many reasons. There are 2 common problems which PS3 consoles tend to get. These are:
YLOD (Yellow Light Of Death) - If your PS3 turns on, then flashes yellow and switches back off and you have a blinking red light, you have the YLOD fault. This can be repaired from £30 which includes a free fan mod that helps prevent the problem from coming back. If have the original 60GB or 80GB models then the price will be £35.
Laser Problems - If your PS3 no longer reads games or other discs then you will need to have a new laser fitted. The total cost for laser replacement including parts is £60.
